Renewal update

Renewal materials will go to the mailing house this week, so please anticipate receiving your packet in a week or two. Dates to be aware of include:

  • The deadline this year has been moved to January 31, 2010, in an effort to ease the financial expense over the holidays.   
  • Members who change status to or from inactive need to do so by December 31, 2009 so that your status in January is clear.
  • View a chart of the 2010 Fees.

On December 1, 2009, new amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure go into effect, along with amendments to the Rules of the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii and the local rules for U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Hawaii.

The Supreme Court Committee on Judicial Performance announces openings. The duty of the committee is to implement a judicial performance program approved by the Supreme Court. Apply by November 30, 2009.
