Action Line– May 2-6, 2011
In partnership with the KHON FOX2 TV Station, the Young Lawyers Division will be assisting the Action Line service by answering questions on a number of legal issues during the week of May 2-May 6 from the hours of 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
HSBA volunteers will take calls from the public and provide guidance designed to assist the callers in resolving their complaints and provide basic legal information. Reach our volunteers at Action Line at (808) 591-0222 on May 2-6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or email at email@example.com.

Face-to-face Legal Clinics– May 7, 2011
On May 7, 2011 volunteers with a legal background will be across the
state at shopping centers and community places ready to provide YOU with
public legal information. Please see our flyer or location listing below to
see the clinic nearest you.
Law Week Launch Party Hosted by the Senior Counsel Division– May 1, 2011
The Senior Counsel Division will be sponsoring a wine and beer tasting event for all members at Vino Italian Tapas and Wine Bar on Restaurant Row. See our flyer for additional information including time, tickets, and parking.
Please join us in celebrating our wonderful volunteers at this social event in their honor. Event will be at Indigo – 1121 Nuuanu St. from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Light pupus will be served. Please call James at 792-7338 to RSVP for this event by May 2.
Law Day Golf Tournament– May 6, 2011
The Law Day Golf Committee will be hosting its annual Law Day Golf
Tournament this year at the Mamala Golf Course on Hickam Air Force Base.

YLD (1) MCPE Professional Seminar– May 6, 2011
The YLD will be hosting a FREE (1) MCPE professional development seminar entitled, "Smartphone APPS for your Law Office" at Noon at the HSBA offices. The seminar will be webcasted for our neighbor island members. See informational flyer for additional details.
Legal Clinics – May 7, 2011
On Saturday May 7 various legal clinics will be set up across the state to assist the public with legal information and referrals. The clinics will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. Legal volunteers are needed to help assist the public. Legal volunteers can choose from two shifts: 10 a.m. - Noon OR Noon - 2 p.m. All active or inactive attorneys, legal assistants, law students and paralegals can volunteer. Please contact the HSBA at 537-1868 for more information or to volunteer. All volunteers will receive a T-Shirt t wear at the clinics. Firms and groups are especially encouraged to volunteer.
