Administrator for Access to Justice Commission

The Administrator will be responsible to the Commission for supporting all aspects of the work and programs of the Commission. The Administrator should be a self-starter, familiar with the legal profession and dedicated to the provision of legal services to the poor. The position will be half-time at the HSBA, funded on an annual basis by the Hawaii Justice Foundation. Great benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.

Volunteer attorneys are needed for various YLD public service projects throughout the year. All attorneys are needed regardless of area or number of years in practice.

LEGAL LINE - Volunteer to answer phone calls from the general public. Help your community with their legal questions. Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. all year. Bring a friend!
LAW WEEK (May) – Volunteer lawyers staff Legal Line Clinics to provide in-person free legal services to the community all over Oahu and the neighbor islands at various shopping centers and other public locations. Other activities may be planned, including a Law Day fair, workshops and other programs.
JUNIOR JUDGES - This project is designed to assist 3rd and 4th grade students who face tough choices to make the right decisions.
