Junior Judges (April 21-25, 2008)
This is Junior Judges week and we are sending volunteers into 30 classrooms for 94 presentations. We thank our volunteers for participating in the Junior Judge program!  Click for a list of participating schools. (For more information about Junior Judges and other YLD programs, click here.)

Law Week (April 25-May 2, 2008)
This year’s law week will be held from April 25 through May 2, 2008.  
• Clinics: The YLD will host Law Week Clinics all over Oahu on Saturday, April 28, 2008. YLD needs attorney volunteers to staff the clinic tables, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Volunteer attorneys will staff shifts at each location (10:00-12:30 and 12:30-3:00), but we are flexible in accommodating any time volunteers can spare. The objective is for the volunteer attorneys to provide free consultations/legal referral information to the greater community. Volunteer paralegals will assist with the intake of clients. No experience in any particular area of law is necessary. Lunch will be provided at the various locations. 
• In addition to our weekly Wednesday night Legal Line, we will be adding special Legal Line Hotlines on Monday, April 28 and Tuesday, April 29 from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Ready for the World (May 12-16, 2008) 
Our Ready for the World project is set for May 12-16, 2008. Please save the dates. Volunteers are needed for this very worthwhile project, which helps educate Hawaii’s young people about their rights and responsibilities as they enter adulthood.
