Wednesday, May 5th--Lunch Seminar in HSBA office noon - 1 p.m.
Seminar regarding new MCPE requirements, Access to Justice and pro bono opportunities. Lunch (pizza and drinks) were provided.
Thursday, May 6th--YLD Social Event at Manifest on Hotel Street at 6 p.m.
The event was open to all HSBA members and friends and was free to Law Week volunteers. Light pupus were served. See the informational flyer here.
Saturday, May 8th--YLD Free Legal Clinics on all Islands from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Photo from Hawaii Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronald T.Y. Moon's surprise party on 5/7/10 at the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel in Kailua-Kona. The West Hawaii Bar Association organized the event for attorneys and judges to honor the Chief Justice before he retires, after serving 17 years as the first Korean-American to be a Chief Justice of any Supreme Court in the U. S.
Chief Justice Moon presented Congratulatory Messages to the winners of the WHBA scholarship essay contest for 2010. First place went to Kacey Kim, Konawaena H.S. senior, second place to Stephanie Vancil, West Hawaii Exploration Academy, and third place to Lindsey Dahl, Konawaena H. S.
